The IEEE CSS Women in Control committee is responsible for, but not limited to, promoting membership, gathering and disseminating appropriate information about women in IEEE CSS and the profession, and facilitating the development of mentoring and programs to promote the retention, recruitment, and growth of women IEEE CSS members. The IEEE WiC invites all CDC women attendees to join us for our traditional luncheon on the first day of the conference, Wednesday, December 11th, 2019.

This social event is only for participants who registered to IEEE for the first time in 2019, or who attend CDC for the first time. This will be a friendly occasion for them to meet other participants freshly arrived in our scientific community around a drink ! This event is coupled to the IEEE Young Professionals social networking event.

“Meet Up” is a social networking event, a place to form new contacts and explore collaboration opportunities among Young Professionals, suited to a casual pub ambiance and open to all interested visitors: conference participants, local IEEE members or any other passing individual from the control area. This reception is organized and sponsored by IEEE Control System Society Young Professionals and IEEE Region 8 Young Professionals. The 2nd, Annual CDC Soccer Cup will take place at Stade Bob Rémond in Nice, France on December 12, 2019, from 10:00 to 12:00. The stadium is close to the conference center Acropolis and is reachable by tramway in about 10 minutes: https://goo.gl/maps/KYqnFs4APhec1b5f6.

Following the tradition, Kalman FC (white and green) will be playing Lyapunov United (black and blue) and everyone is invited to come cheer your favorite team! See teams' colors here!
